Cuba Holidays
Even though Cuba is most popular during the cooler months in the winter, it’s still a great tourist location all around the year, and if you’re planning a trip but still haven’t decided where, have a look at what this little country has to offer so that you can make the most of your time there!
A holiday in Cuba should start at Havana, though explore around it a bit as well – for example, just a small drive from it holds the Playas del Este, which is a long chain of wonderful beaches that span for 10 kilometers. If you love laying on the beach, this is definitely the place for you (depending on the season, of course).
And even if you don’t smoke, you can’t deny the history Cuba has with its famous cigars, so at least pay a visit to one of the many factories that produce them to have a look at how the world’s finest produce is made.
If you’re into more cultural holidays, you should check out the Museo de la Revolucion, which used to house the Presidential Palace and the government, but it’s now used for storing various documents and photographs, as well as other items related to the famous Cuban Revolution, letting you sink deeply into the country’s culture while on your holiday in Cuba.
If you enjoy animals and wildlife in general, you could also go to the Parque Nacional Alejandro de Humboldt, which is one of the official UNESCO World Heritage Sites, situated in the provinces of Holguin and Guantanamo, housing a stunning variety of animals and plants, some of which you’ll never get to see anywhere else. Make sure you don’t obstruct the wildlife while you’re there though, as it’s one of the few places in the world that’s remained truly preserved.
