China Holidays
If you’ve never taken holidays in China before, now’s the perfect time for this – with the opportunities so attractive and the Chinese government offering so many perks to tourists, you can be sure that a vacation spent there would be a successful one. China holds various cultural sites, as well as some more unusual discoveries – such as the famous Terracotta Warriors, which is an “army” of several thousand figures built in actual size, each completely unique in its facial features and other appearance aspects. You can pay them a visit at their own museum in Xi’An.
If you’re looking to get a taste of China’s cultural side, there are plenty of places to start your journey – but if you’re close to Chengdu, the Wenshu temple is definitely a good choice. You can have a relaxing cup of tea in one of the teahouses situated around the beautiful gardens, all adding up to a fantastic afternoon experience.
Another temple worth visiting is the Guiyuan emple in Wuhan, which is known for being the first Zen temple to appear in Hubei. It was built four centuries ago and is quite large, with several separate structures which you may not even have time to visit completely.
And if you’re not so interested in the cultural aspect of your visit but just want to see the latest technological trends being applied in everyday life, you could go down to Kowloon and have a walk around some state of the art buildings, among which is the Bank of China Tower, hovering above the region and visible from quite afar.
It’s truly amazing how the Chinese have managed to preserve their unique cultural values and blend them so well with their advanced technology, and the final result is simply unforgettable – as we’re sure will be your China holiday!
